Where do fictional characters come from? More often than writers would care to admit, they come from real life, whether consciously or unconsciously, as a whole or in part. Take HUSH MONEY‘s Russ Dinsmoor for example. Here is my eulogy to the real-life Don Mike Anthony.
He passed away on June 1.
Oh Chuck, I am heartbroken by this news. Don Mike was one of my personal favorites. We spent a lot of time talking about wine, technology and his family and dogs. I am so sorry to know that the world has lost a man of his caliber. It is a sadder place for his passing. My heart and condolences go out to you in your time of loss, and to your partners who will miss him dearly. He was truly a unique and wonderful person.
